Solanart is a full-featured NFT marketplace based on the Solana network that allows anybody to buy or sell NFTs that are based on the Solana network. Solanart seeks to support artists and makers by offering a safe and secure platform for them to share their work.
The Eternal Beings NFT, which was generated on the Solana network, represents 11,111 unique Eternal Beings “floating in the ominous orbit of Pluto,” ready to be “abducted.” The project was allegedly inspired and backed by Lil Uzi because Eternal Beings traits are similar to Lil Uzi’s physical attributes.
In September 2021, the SOLANA network debuted “aesthetically attractive” NFTs centered on artist Lil Uzi Vert. It’s no surprise that the discord channel has over 40,000 members, as 11,111 units were sold out in only 15 minutes. Lil Uzi advertised the concept on his social media sites, however his accounts were wiped clean immediately after the public sale, thereby eliminating Eternal Beings from his brand.
Some members of the Eternal Beings community were concerned that the NFT drop was a ruse. It didn’t help that the project’s Discord channel published an expletive-laden message urging its users, whom they referred to as “a bunch of pussies,” not to panic.
Following the rant, Eternal Beings issued a statement apologizing for their lack of professionalism and explaining the situation with Lil Uzi Vert’s postings being deleted. According to the label, Lil Uzi Vert took a break from Eternal Beings to work on his next album.
